Life is Suffering — Buddha

The Buddha made clear what we’ve got:

Suffering—that is our lot;

Based on things that I see

And what happened to me,

I’m no one to say that it’s not.

“Life is suffering,” Buddha once said,

And since that popped into his head,

We’ve had no advisor

Teach anything wiser:

It won’t be that bad being dead.
